Aawas Yojana Urges CM Dhami to Unlock
₹5,200 Crore Urban Housing Inventory Through Tech-Enabled Rehabilitation
Dehradun, India – August , 2025 : Aawas Yojana,

Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to approve a tech-enabled housing rehabilitation
blueprint that can unlock ₹5,200 crore of unsold urban inventory in Uttarakhand

fiscal revenues through stamp duties and registrations.

proptech future.
Call for Government
Integration
In its
proposal, Aawas Yojana has also stepped forward to seek government integration
for select housing units under MDDA (Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority)
and HRDA (Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority). These pilot projects will
serve as proof-of-concept for:

● Escrow-verified digital housing transactions
